Music
Welcome
We welcome you to become a part of the
Ministry of Music at Liberty Road Faith Fellowship.
Music is a vital, important part of our worship and outreach.
Based on traditional worship music of our multi-denominational membership, the backbone of the ministry is the Chancel Choir. Additionally, we have an energetic Handbell Choir that is part of our worship throughout the year.
Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir is an integral part of our Sunday morning worship service.
During the service, the choir presents an anthem and supports congregational hymn singing. The choir rehearses each Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. On Sunday mornings the choir “warms up” 30 minutes before the service. The choir also provides music for special services such as Christmas, Easter, Maundy Thursday, Hymn Sings, and Fifth Sunday Musicales.
If you enjoy singing, you are encouraged to join the choir. No audition is needed. With a quick talk with the choir director, you will be welcomed to a friendly group that enjoys learning new music, singing the songs from your past, and serving in the church with the gift of music.
Fifth Sundays
Each year there are four months, and sometimes five, with “Fifth Sundays.”
Since the beginning of Liberty Road Faith Fellowship, the tradition has been to present an entire worship service of music on these Fifth Sundays with the choir, instrumental ensembles, special musical groups, and soloists.
These worship services are based on themes taken from the church year. On these Sundays, the church is filled with the sounds of Worship through Music, as well as praise from a congregation that loves to sing.
Handbells
Handbells are a recent addition to the Music Ministry.
The church enjoys four octaves of handbells. Special handbell music is often presented at Christmas, Easter, Fourth of July, and other times throughout the year.
