Rev. Lisa V. Wood

Senior Pastor

 Rev. Lisa Vestal Wood was called by Liberty Road Faith Fellowship as their first full-time Pastor in February, 2018.  She earned her Master of Divinity degree with emphasis in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Baptist Seminary of Kentucky, and was ordained to the Gospel ministry in 2005.  She graduated from Louisville Presbyterian Seminary, holds membership in Spiritual Directors International, and is a former seminar facilitator with the Oates Institute. She served as Pastor to Children, Youth, and Senior Adults at Immanuel Baptist Church in Frankfort, KY, and as Children’s Minister at Third Baptist Church in Owensboro, KY.

Rev. Wood is a former children’s book review columnist. She has authored numerous articles on grieving, crisis ministry, and ministry resources for use in worship.  Her original litanies, skits, and dramatic interpretations of scripture are used in churches of various denominations. Her first children’s book, Okay With Me, was published in 2009.  

Rev. Richard Dwyer

Minister of Music and Organist

Our Music Ministry is guided by Rev. Richard Dwyer, Minister of Music and Organist.

He earned degrees in Church Music and Organ at Asbury University and Indiana University and studied Pastoral Care and Counseling at the Lexington Theological Seminary and Asbury Theological Seminary. As an active member of the Lexington Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, he earned the Associate and Fellow Certificates provided by that organization.

Prior to joining Liberty Road Faith Fellowship in September 2014, in Lexington, he served on the staff at Calvary Baptist Church where he was Ordained to the Ministry in 1981, Centenary United Methodist Church, and First United Methodist Church, Andover Campus. He has also taught at Asbury University, Asbury Theological Seminary, Eastern Kentucky University, Berea College, Transylvania University, and University of Kentucky.
